BO-1 Process Ink

The BO-1 process ink is a proven product line with over 30 years of success in the market, meeting the needs of a wide range of users. BO-1 supports color applications in compliance with ISO 12647-2 printing standards and is compatible with global color certifications such as G7®, BrandQ, Fogra, and GMI. It also supports xCMYK extended gamut printing. Developed by Idealliance between 2015 and 2016, xCMYK explores the maximum color gamut achievable with four-color offset printing, optimized using the G7 methodology to adjust print curves. As a result, xCMYK delivers a 46% larger color gamut compared to GRACoL 2013 CRPC6.

The advantages of xCMYK extended gamut printing include higher chroma, increased color saturation, expanded tonal range, and richer detail—allowing superior reproduction of original colors while maintaining cost efficiency.
