Tung Ming Printing Ink has long been committed to environmentally friendly inks and sustainable manufacturing. We are proud to announce that our “MG-2 VF Eco-Friendly Process Ink Series” has successfully obtained ISO 14067:2018 Product Carbon Footprint verification through the rigorous assessment conducted by AFNOR ASIA.

 

The verification covers a full “Cradle to Gate” life cycle assessment, including raw materials, manufacturing, and factory operations, all verified in accordance with international standards.

 

Carbon footprint results for the MG-2 VF Series (per 1 kg product):

• Process Yellow NS-S: 7.4796 kg CO₂e
• Process Magenta NS-S: 6.8844 kg CO₂e
• Process Cyan NS-S: 7.6764 kg CO₂e
• Process Black NS-S: 6.9302 kg CO₂e

 

This achievement reflects our continued efforts in carbon management and sustainable production. Moving forward, we will further optimize manufacturing efficiency and reduce environmental impact to support the packaging and printing industry’s journey toward Net Zero.

Since 2020, Tung Ming has been proactively developing offset inks that meet the requirements of the French Mineral Oil Regulation (MOSH/MOAH). As the regulation rolled out in three phases (2022/2023, 2024, and 2025), our R&D team has kept pace, and we are proud to announce that our offset inks now fully comply with the 2025 standards.

Looking ahead, Tung Ming remains committed to continuous improvement. Beyond CMYK inks, we are preparing to extend compliance to spot colors, metallic inks, fluorescent inks, in-line coatings (gloss/matte), and related ink additives—ensuring the market is fully supported.

To minimise production risks, we are also establishing a dedicated MOSH/MOAH-compliant production line, scheduled for completion between Q4 2023 and Q1 2024. This investment reinforces our commitment to providing customers with the safest and most reliable offset inks.
